Pulled down two versions of corn snake but didnt like the quality on them - Are the rest (2, 3 & 4) similar quality (presume so from previous comments)?

Ended up going for the HD version, not watched it yet though.

Due to the quality issues with the 'preair' versions I am just going to go for the weekly rips. I forgot this show only lasted 25 minutes per episode.

If anyone's watching the pre-airs on XBMC, if you press start, and move the cursor down one, you can adjust the pixel size ratio and set interlacing to something like "Synch on even" and the quality looks as good as any other video.

Enjoyed Corn Snake and glad I watched it in HD, if the rest are released in HD then I will be grabbing them before looking at any other versions.

Weeds is fairly brilliant. The amount of stuff they manage to cram into every episode without it ever feeling cluttered beggars belief. The fat daughter aerobics, both wanking speeches, the Jewish stuff, the son and his girlfriend and the you-know all in one episode, and it's not even in an hour slot. Fantastic stuff.

Am watchign this all the same, but it still feels like a show that didn't quite make the HBO cut. It's they had that meeting where they brainstorm as many plot ideas as possible, but forgot to have the meeting a little bit later where they cut most of them.

Phew. I've yet to watch it. I think it was 12 or 13 epsiodes in season 1 so there's not much left. I still maintain this is a brilliantly written show.

See, I didn't mind that because that was setting up the story for the next season. It was a nice little teaser. This is more like ripping out the last page of a book. "King of the Rocketmen" cliffhangers are all very well, but not when you've got to wait a year to find out how things turn out. Assuming the show gets picked up for another season.
